We would like for everyone to keep our brothers and teammates in Branson in your thoughts.  They were awakened in the early morning hours yesterday to an EF2 tornado following HWY 76 running right through the heart of town.  By 17:00 hours yesterday, no serious injuries were reported after secondary searches of all damaged buildings were completed.  National Guard, 20 additional firefighters from nearby cities,30 extra state police and local C.E.R.T. teams were brought in to backup local resources. Branson will come back stronger than ever.  Keep up the great work guys and see you next month!

Thanks for all your thoughts.  The Tornado response went well with several Tangent Edge alumni working the streets and a great response from mutual aid and cert teams.  Our town has a big scar right through the middle of it but we can and will come back strong.  I am happy to report that there were no fatlities and most of the injuries were considered minor.  No responders sustained any injuries.  Remember, good training like that which is provided by Tangent Edge will prepare you for anything.  This was a big event for our small town but we were able to handle it extremely well and get back to normal in a relatively short period of time.  Hope to see a lot of you next month for class.
